Christian Louboutin lose exclusivity on his red sole: the questionable victory goes to YSL!

Ridiculous but true! Christian Louboutin has lost the case against Yves Saint Laurent and with it the exclusive red sole that is on for quite some time now his trademark, the element that in more than one occasion we did recognize a model at the foot of a celebrity. A court in New York does not think so, so it is pronounced against the shoe-French designer who only recently stated: "The Red has no other function than to let everyone know one thing: that there are my shoes".

According to the decision of the Court, however, "Unlike logos and other designs there are rights for certain colors," stated the judge, "give a company the exclusive right of the Red soles would be like having wanted to prohibit the use of a Monet a specific shade of blue for his paintings, Picasso had come first with his blue period".
